Evonik`s product line Personal Care presents a technical lecture at BDIH Workshop - natural cosmetic raw materials and symposium in Mannheim

Evonik expert Peter Becker will present “Antil® Soft SC, the natural choice for a multifunctional thickening agent for Rinse-Off”, in the Steigenberger Mannheimer Hof on November 4th, at 13:45.

ANTIL® Soft SC (INCI: Sorbitan Sesquicaprylate) is a novel liquid multifunctional thickening agent for rinse-off formulations that reduces moisture loss of skin after surfactant treatment and improves foam creaminess. It shows excellent thickening in various surfactant systems and works as a foam booster even in PEG-free formulations.

ANTIL® Soft SC is very easy to handle. It is cold processable and can be used at low levels to produce clear body washes or shampoos. The recommended usage concentration is 0.5 -1.5 percent. For most properties, ANTIL® Soft SC outperforms the standard, even with lower concentration. It is PEG-free, based on natural raw materials and readily biodegradable, which conforms to Ecocert standards.
