TEGO® Cosmo LSG
TEGO® Cosmo LSG is a highly effective, naturally derived Beta-Glucan (Scleroglucan) for cosmetic skin care formu-lations.
Due to the low molecular weight its inherent thickening properties are reduced and the usage concentration in cosmetic formulations can be increased. The large water-binding capacity, soothing properties and positive effects on the skin barrier combined with its silky skin feel make TEGO® Cosmo LSG an ideal active ingredient for formulations targeted for skin protection.
TEGO® Cosmo LSG is obtained via fermentation. It is water-soluble, biodegradable, non-toxic and easy to handle. In formulations it can be added to the water phase. The recommended usage concentration is 0.2%-1.5%.
