New contract distributor for Evonik cosmetic products in the Andean region
Starting in December 2015, Evonik will be cooperating with a new contract distributor for its cosmetic products and services in the Andean region. The Colombian chemical company Disan will take over support services for regional customers and key accounts in Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador, representing the full portfolio of the Personal Care Business Line of Evonik with the exception of silicones.
The Andean region, and particularly Colombia, plays an important role in the Latin American personal care market. Evonik entered into the new business alliance to strengthen its relationships with key accounts in the region. "The cooperation with Disan will also boost our most recent investment in the Region, the new production facility for high-quality ingredients for the consumer goods and cosmetics industry in Brazil," said Dr. Tammo Boinowitz, head of the Personal Care Business Line at Evonik.
